Time is Always Moving On

Time is always moving on!

Time does not favor anyone over someone else. It is like the tide that rises and ebbs without any exception to anyone. That is why there is the saying "Time and tide wait for no man."

Once time has passed, it is gone forever. It will not come back.On the other hand, you cannot store up time for use in the future. No one can hoard time.

This only goes to show that time is a precious commodity. There is as much time as you can use subject to twenty four hours each day. But how much can a person accomplish in a day?

People complain that they have no time or they have little time. Where did their time go? These people have the same number of hours each day. So how can they say they have no or little time?

Do you give such excuses when required to do something? Or you tell yourself that you have little time to do things that you have planned to do. It is acceptable if this happens once in a while. But when it becomes very frequent, then it is time to refocus on priorities.

Make hay while the sun shines
The online Free Dictionary states that this Proverb means "If you have an opportunity to do something, do it before the opportunity expires."

Since time is always moving on, the sun will definitely set. Once that happens, the opportunity is gone if you are not quick enough to make arrangement that you have a second shot at the same opportunity the following day. You will not get the opportunity every time.

So make productive use of your waking hours each passing day. Can you imagine the costs of lost opportunities, the lost chances offered to you? You may not forgive yourself for making poor use of your time.

Some of the things you can do
Between sunrise and bedtime, you can do some of the following:
1. Go to work and do it the best you can.
2. Read an inspiring book that can make you a better person.
3. Help someone who is in need of it, such doing the shopping for a disabled person.
4. Take your daily exercise.
5. Listen to soothing music to relax your tired mind.
6. Appreciate the beauty of the world around you.
7. Give a smile to a stranger.

and a myriad of other things.

Take the opportunity to do something worthwhile for the day. Once the opportunity is gone, it may be gone forever. After all.time is always moving on.
